So the only thing this game is relating to TF: Prime are the designs? Everything else (story, etc.) will be completely new and unrelatable?

I have the misfortune to be one of the beta-testers of Netdragon's games, Heroes of Might and Magic Online.

HOMMII and III were some of my favourite games, so of course, I had high hopes...

They basically turned an interesting turn-based strategy into an endless grind, with boring battles and an insipid upgrade system (you have to actually LOSE units in every battle, so that you gain souls to upgrade them in your castle. Makes perfect logical sense, yes?) There is no castle building, no towns, no resources on the adventure map, you just go and kill enemy stacks and the occasional (always respawning) enemy hero. PvP consists of you battling another player with both your armies stacked to the max, in which case, usually the guy with the higher level wins, because the game (like KIng's Bounty) has Leadership limiting how many units can you recruit. Most high level players just run around with 7 stacks of archers or Black Dragons... The three months of beta testing have been incredibly boring, but I kept hoping they'd change the system as everyone pointed out how unenjoyable the game was.

And then came the last nail in the coffin... after having us US and European guys test the game for them and point out the flaws on the forums, for 3 months, they revealed the game will only be playeable from Asian countries. Of course, they knew that from the start, but somehow let this be not mentioned...

I followed the status of the game still on the forums, and even today, it is full of bugs and is horribly boring to play. Their other games, like Conqueror Online, are not any better.

So, THIS is Netdragon. I am amazed Hasbro choose them to do a TF game. They must have some wizard of a PR guy.

Oh, and check this out. Apparently, Transformers started out with Armada in 1984. http://tf.91.com/activity/image/1984.shtml
