More like unfinished photoshopping, lazy igear.

I like the name Current, but aside from that, it's just normal rip off knock off igear stuff. Would-be good as a base to make Icestorm (FR's custom, iirc), but not much else.

Why would they bother with an MP TC? One already exists in Takara MP Thundercracker, and Hasbro might done one too someday. If it's something else entirely, then I'm not sure what they're going for.

Also, love how the thread couldn't go one post with out the words 'knock off' being mentioned. That's what it is granted, but still funny.  

 

Seems like igear gonna be releasing the seeker mold in rainmaker colours

It's not TC. The Rainmakers were Shockwave's seekers on Cybertron

 

I'm going to be broke collecting every seeker there is, damnit! lol!

 

I just hope all these iGear seekers have the weathered detailing and panel lines that MP Starscream (Wal-Mart) had. If they look perfectly clean like those Sunstorm prototype pics, I'll be a little turned off.

 

i would love for igear to offer a package deal for all the remaining seekers.

 

Haven't we seen a prototype of the MP seeker mold tweaked a bit to ditch the hip-kibble and some other parts? Honestly it looks like one of the Rainmakers but I'd bet there's a market for TC and his brothers in this line. If they're going to make Sunstorm and the others they might as well make the whole damn batch.

 

Never got people's obsession with these background characters, but I guess it doesn't matter if it's a blue Starscream, a green Starscream, a yellow Starscream...would probably still look decent.

 

As far as the non-Conheads go, I'll be passing, as I have enough MP Skywarps to make my own. I'd rather go that route that this one for things like those.

 

total pass & zero interest don't blame japan for banning them on their lands either earlier back it does look like copyright Infri, to me to me it is just like making money off of their characters Igear is.Which doesn't feel right to me.

 

I'd love to get an MP Ultra Magnus w/armor, a diaclone Magnus w/armor, a scaled down Megatron, an MP Predaking, the coneheads, the rainmakers...

And for the next two years, Takara gives us...

iGear rocks.

 

In the beginning, I wasn't too keen on the idea of these iGear MP Seekers, but they're tempting the crap out of me now.

My only hang up now will be the build quality.

A slightly lighter MP Thundercracker? Fuck off, iGear. Just STOP it. You're just taking the piss now.

 

These look decent but I much prefer their work on the Coneheads for the extra distinction from the original 3 Seekers by Hasbro/Takara-Tomy. That said, I won't be buying these since I have zero interest in background characters.

I just wish iGear would quit wasting time churning out uninspired Seeker clones (outside of the Coneheads; those actually look cool) and finish their PP02 Horror Monarch for release (and with all the engineering and material problems that were present on the MP-05 fixed).

Now THAT figure I want more than yet another Seeker rehash.

 

I want to see iGear create more innovative things like their Kup heads. THAT'S the route they need to head down.
