New trailer for MP01/MPL Prime

So no PP-01 trailer YET... but in the mean time this trailer is droppingu that will work with all 8,000 uses of the MP Prime mold.







This should drop either in May or June and will be $119 shipped.

 

That's an exact copy of t.h.s 02 trailer only upscaled and with a new gun.

 

Is this just the MP-04 trailer? Looks good.

 

iGear will carry this item, but did not make it. Similar to MGT-01. It will be listed on their site shortly.

Nope. It's a direct KO of MP-04's trailer with an upscaled T.H.S.02 roller and gun, KO Masterpiece gun, and the gas pump.

 

No, there are a few changes they made to theirs. They're minimal, but they're there (the length being one).

 

Wow the lucky dude also has the very limited lucky draw exclusive in store Walmart Sideswipe! That is the most interesting thing i found here.

no offense to Igear but with MP4 and all the trailers that have come before... why?

 

maybe because some of us who own masterpiece prime/MP1/MP1L/DVD Prime dont want to shell out for the same toy again in MP4 and havent thought many of the previous trailers released were any good?

Hmm. Interesting, iGear. Interesting.

MP4 isn't such good value for anyone who has MP1, or the Hasbro release; I have MP1 and I wouldn't buy MP4 just for a trailer. Plus this comes with Roller, which MP4 didn't.
That awesomely detailed fanbuilt trailer not only cost an arm and a leg but also hasn't been easily available for years.
And the Justittoys' trailer didn't fold out.

 

I have MP-01. I bought an official trailer from a board member in Australia. That was a few years ago. If I didn't already have that trailer I'd be all over this.

 

WOnder if Roller will be sold on his own for those of us who have MP-04?

 

Brilliant news as the older 3rd party trailers (that don't even open) are going for about £90 on eBay these days and I still need a trailer for MP-01.

Shame it's not the uber-trailer that iGear were looking at making a few years ago (PP-04?) but it's better than nothing. MP-09 and MP-01 are about perfect scale to each other in vehicle mode so I'd rather this than the new MP-10 midget.

Interesting. I had contacted igear about this, and they said they weren't going to release this. Hmmmmm.

 

while that's true its a very competitive market and given the hornets nest they have all ready stirred I'd assume they would just stick to their planned magnus armour before adding to the list of MP trailers
