I stumbled upon this while searching for the old Trendmasters Dexter's Laboratory toys.

Anyways, there it is under "portfolio", in the middle right section of the gallery.

The designer does a lot of work for Fast Food, Candy, and Cereal premiums, so it might be something of that sort.

The copyright is marked 2009, so it may have been for ROTF. It seems like a lot of the designer's work made it into production, so I'm wondering if this ever did or ever will (I've always admired the simplicity of fast food toys).

Basically you open the head of Optimus Prime up, and you pull out a super-deformed version of his body. There also appears to be a "translucent" red section on his forehead, possibly for some light-up gimmick. Given the super-deformed proportions of the toy, it makes me think this might have been for Burger King's ROTF toys because they have recently done super-deformed toys of heroes from Marvel movies (Spider-Man 3 comes to mind).

Those are frickin' adorable - I'm getting the whole set, even if it means another month of non-stop BK Kids Meals. It'll be worth shortening my lifespan like I did when the Star Wars BK toys came out with episode III.
