I am well aware that Hasbro, and TT are aware of these guys. What I meant by "not on their radar," is that it hasn't hit them in their pocket book yet.

Calling Igear a company is like calling a port-a-potty a palace. They have a history of over-promising and under-producing. It's a shame, because some of their original stuff looks great. And for the record: I wholeheartedly support the 3rd party companies that are making original designs and producing them, but Igear blatantly takes items that are already produced and copies them outright. I admire their enthusiasm, but I abhor their lack of creativity and any minor moral compass. I equate buying their products to buying "hot" items from the back of a guy's truck in North Minneapolis. I don't do it because: #1: it's a crime, and #2: there is someone out there who originally owned this property, and this criminal is now benefitting by depriving them of it.
Igear is a group of criminals in the guise of a toy company, pure and simple. Just because the BIG guys haven't put the hammer down on them (yet,) doesn't make it any less true, but like most criminals, their time will come. If you want to aid and abet these jokers by sending them your money, have fun. I originally came into this thread to lend some advice to someone who has done work that I respect immensely. I didn't mean to turn it into a pissing contest about who was willing to allow these shysters to continue to make money off of other peoples work. I will leave it at that.

I agree with the Prime and coneheads that igear is doing nothing more than stealing. The heads and the Arc set I will call as original as anything else put out by anyone else.

Sorry for stomping on your advice. I just have knowledge about how expensive getting invovled with the law can be and wanted to point that out as well.

But this is not a thread about how much people don't like what I gear has done. But there are more people who are tired of hearing about it. I love what iGear has done. I love my Arc set and WISH WISH WISH they do the same for the Decpeticons.

Igear is not stealing the design from mark this I can tell did not happen people need to stop bashing igear for something they really don't know the facts, igear has made some good things for us fans that's all that Magnus trailer IMO belongs to hastak the fact is we all get something from someone at sometime in our life. We all know they are doing a trailer and I'm sure it will be badass I'm sure it might be similar to marks it would have to be IMO who cares and I'm sayin this cause I know marks work wasn't sent to them and igear did not ask anyone to send them the armor some of you guys should know better than that. Now for the coneheads I preorderd them he'll why not they look awesome I love collecting transformers if tt or hasbo doesnt make it and somebody does well that's their loss if it something I desire I'm gonna buy it. I have bought their products and I think there doing a great job and I support them.

 

Funny how alot of people jumping in and saying they have Anemis' back with no real info against Igear..no direspect to Anemis, but what are you people gonna do behind a keyboard? Write ugly emails?

 

Exactley, what I was thinking aniemus did a super job on mp02 trailer but ultramagnus is a product of hastak trailer and all,so even if igear took some ideas from his work and people say it wasn't right, well IMO some of us can say he stole the Magnus trailer concept from hastak big deal, there will always be a market for this, and talking with igear before this they indicated that they put a lot of time and hard work to make this armor right just for us fans, they know it has to be right for it to sale, they know about the previous attempts and know they were crappy, that's why the were cancelled. And I for one don't wanna spend $1200 for a trailer if Igear can make one for $120 range or so I'm gonna buy it. Just like I did pp01 and ultra leader,coneheads and so on.

 

Looks like its 5-20-11. First conehead should be released! I hope they shaved off thoes pieces off the waist for more articulation.

It's people like this that hurt this forum, really I think it's lame and uncalled for. But I know igear and lord-starscream could care less about what he thinks, igear is one if not the best 3rd party toys out there IMO. Can't wait to see and get that trailer and coneheads
