I'm excited about all the money I'm going to be saving from not buying DOTM figures.

 

Just superior all around, every area, from movie accurate sculpt to size, feature and even more HA-ish Transformation.

 

He has quite a few DOTM figures, but I reckon that he's trying not to show that much because of how Hasbro has been reacting to the picture leaks. But hopefully he will soon, now that they seem to have given up.

 

I, personally, love his little penguin feet. It gives him a very squat feeling that is accurate to the character.

 

Man, that really hammers home how the moving part count just fell off a cliff. Colors and sculpt aside, the new toy is really scaled back.

 

True..but even then, he doesn't have some kind of obligation to the fans just because he owns the figures.

Twitter's really your best source for info - sometimes he'll sneak pics of the figures he just got on there.

 

I think it's funny how everyone suddenly became an expert on what is and isn't going to sell. It's right up there with people being able to judge the playability and fun value of a toy without ever seeing it transform or played with.

But then, I forgot, this is the internet and everyone is an expert on everything. So who's going to explain String Theory to me? Seriously, I'd like to understand that stuff!

 

I rather like the contrast between the black and neon green. It's a much nicer look than the original deluxe. Overall, he's pretty good but I don't need another Skids toy. I think I'll pass.

 

Not sure what String Theory is but it's causing the ROTF toyline to be a major fail!! I've seen it with my own eyes at my local store!!

 

These DOTM toys are looking more and more horrible.
More money for 3rd party stuff I suppose.

 

I agree with you, people are usually far too judgemental about things far too quickly

however, String Theory is the theory that your life is a string that can intersect with other people's strings (aka their lives) so theoretically, if you can alter some of those intersections then you can chance a persons entire future (also see Butterfly Effect...not the films...those aren't good)

 

He looks bigger in alt mode and he`s smaller in robot mode? Wtf?!
