As awesome as those pics are, I'm still undecided upon whether or not to cancel my preorder. The lack of pics focusing on the trailer are making me lean towards the Hasbro version.
Masterpiece says it all! I cant wait to see what the MP-1L Final Edition Optimus is gonna look like with all of its bells and whistles that are still unknown but I sure hope it includes the trailer WITH roller or issue a new and improved trailer seperatley. Well im sure it would'nt include the trailer for the price they're asking but im betting they will reissue an updated version of the trailer seperatly or a Final Edition with the trailer for a higher price.
Oficially, you have the best username ever. Talking 'bout the figure, I can't believe toy enginering (engeneering? I don't know, my grammar sucks) Has come to this level. This masterpiece will show us everyting Takara can give out at the moment. It is unfortunate that I will never get it.
The trailer still sucks, and no one is taking pictures of what the back kibble looks like, which is the only thing keeping me from thinking about plunking down on a Hasbro release purely do to his Hot Rod Alt Mode.
Any word if Hasbro is going to release this version? I thought I read somewhere they are releasing without the trailer and comes with a Targetmaster instead. If that is the case.. just call it Masterpiece Hot Rod since it won't really be Rodimus.
Oo. He's looking even nicer than the magazine and stock photos we've seen. I'm not sure if it's the lighting but Hot Rod/Rodimus' colors are looking a more screen accurate shade of magenta. Just another week to go till I get my hands on him.
Can't wait for the US version. ANd is that a new matrix? It looks smaller than MP primes. Does it open too or come out?
I'm 20000% certain i'm getting this figure but I only have one gripe with it, there seems to be a cavity (3rd picture from he top) on top of the rodimus's trailer cab, what is it, it really irks me, is there anyway it can be concealed?
From what I've seen, yes, this is a new Matrix. I personally like how the handles are more curved than MP-01's Matrix. And sadly, yes, since MP-09 is not to scale with MP-01 and MP-05, it is very likely smaller.
I can only hope TRU MP Hot Rod will look as good. It's a real shame that trailer doesn't do anything for me.
