Yeah I see what's going on there...the "kibble" itself isn't as big of a deterrant to me as that vertical space running right through the middle of him...dang... Thanks for that video!
I think we're all hoping that the chest and hood sections just aren't attached together properly in that video. It's certainly not enough to derail my interest in Roddy.
This is a good point. The folks waiting for Hasbro are going to be waiting a long time. It seems it averages a year between the Takara release and the Hasbro release. The earliest I could see it hitting is Sept/Oct.
Well, it looks like Rodimus will be released next week and Robotkingdom has some updates Coin, Case, and something else according to their newsletter Wonder what it is?
I just noticed this after looking at the pictures again. The picture with the trailer the exaust pipes are not transformed correctly.
Can't wait, BBTS updated it to January 26th, so I am so pumped. I may have it by the end of next week, early week after. This figure will make my year (Huge Hot Rod fan.).
Can't see the appeal of the coin, like the goggles, too bad Roddy can't hold the original Masterpiece Matrix.
Too early, especially with DOTM stuff being the flavor of the moment. They'll probably wait until Spring 2012 or even Summer 2012, the time for the Prime line to lose some steam...
QFT. The only hasbro MP's I've bought are the MP Seekers. I bought the Takara Seekers for my own collection, and the hasbro ones for commissioned repaints. The Takara ones are superior in every measurable way. I hope this remains so for MP09!
Which is completely the opposite experience I've had. I've modded and/or handled around 7 Takara Starscreams and 2 each of Skywarp and Thundercraker. EVERY Starscream had paint issues(especially on the landing gear bay and white arm stripes) and stress marks and or breakages on the wing joints. In fact, I consider the Takara MP Starscream one of the worst QC-ridden transformers I've ever owned. Both Skywarps had paint issues on the lower arms and uneven gloss coats, and both Thundercrackers had the misassembled chest intakes and the same uneven gloss coats. On the other hand the 5 Hasbro Starscreams I've messed with, while not perfect, have just been of a much better quality, in my opinion. Two had minor paint issues on the chest, and one had a midly missassebled piece. The 3 or so Hasbro Skywarps I've handled have been near flawless.
Yes he can in his hands. Not inside him though. http://www.millionhero.jp/tfg2010/image01/cover01.jpg Randy
Which works just fine for me, gives my wallet breathing room. I've never had an issue finding MPs at TRU anyway. Now walmart on the other hand... I've seen skywarp, but never starscream.
Damn, that's awesome . I can't wait for this figure to come out!!!!. Love the Matrix inside his chest!!!!
It works out for me. I really just can't wait to own a MP Rodimus so I'll be getting this one immediately and am excited that a seperate MP Hot Rod will be available later which'll save me some money since I want a second one to display in car mode anyway. It's a win-win in my eyes.
I check my email almost everyday, just hoping, that just maybe TFSource has him in stock, and will ship mine out . . .
