Cool stuff. Mostly the same as the final renders, though I don't remember seeing one for the Decepticon trooper before.

 

Stupid sexy Eradicon...

 

I quite like Soundwave's slim look as it fits his spy/reconnaissance-bot role in the show but Starscream is too skinny. If I haven't seen the show I would've thought that he's a female character.

 

Hope they eventually let him release the concept evolutions as to what we might have gotten similar to how DJW revealed the Lockdown Frankenstein concept.

 

I'd have agreed before seeing the show on Starscream's look, but it works quite well in the show. Looks odd in pictures like this, but something about the way he is shown in the series doesn't make it show up as much.

Now that would be cool! I'd love to see more design evolutions like that.

 

I am looking forward to toys on everybody except Soundwave and Starcream. These two might want to refuel with some egg protein added energon cubes. I am really looking FW to seeing Prime, Megs, and the Eradicon as deluxe or voyager toys. They should be awesome, and Takara will hopefully make them awesomer......not a word but sounds sexxxy

 

Starscream and Soundwave remind me of Evangelions.

Am I alone in not liking any of the bots in Prime?
well sep Ratchet, he looks pritty good.

 

I'm not a liker of the wanna be bay formers cartoon but I would like to see a Cliffjumper, BB, and the Decepticon twins or drone cars whatever they are but would like to see some toys soon anyway.

 

Love this, glad that we got a look at some of the art, but I would love to see more, like the evolution to how we got to the final renders.

 

Wasn't there some sketches in that TF: Prime comic book?

Yeah, the title does seem slightly misleading. These are more final designs. Though they are probably the final concepts of the characters. So they could be considered concept art in that right.

They are in fact, apparently, Jose Lopez's 2D drawings, colored(Most likely with Photoshop.) by Augusto Barranco. Guy does good work.

 

I'd like a good look at one of the aerial Eradicons.

 

wait, where are breakdown and Knockout, i guess they arent allowed to show them till they appear on TV ??
