Black and/or Clear Rodimus again may be likely, and eHobby have repainted Kup before as Orion Pax, so I guess that could be rolled out once more.

Then again, the fact they're all principals from the '86 animated movie being presented together, under the 2010 celebration banner could mean a different approach. Maybe just straight "animated movie" paintjobs for the Autobots, and a generic Junkion warrior, as others suggest? "Reformatting" decos for Cyclonus, Scourge & Galvatron?

Anything '86 Movie-centric = instant buy for me. It's like a knee-jerk reaction, lol. All over this.

I'm interested to see what else they can do with Rodimus and Cyclonus.

This set looks pretty enticing I must say. Love the classic molds (minus Galvy and Scourge :D ) I'm definitely hoping for an Orion Pax re-color but doubtful since the set seems to have a 1986 movie theme. Wonder if they'd actually go for a Shattered Glass deco or if they even can (doubtful) Either way another black or grey Hot Rod would be a fans dream

United Kup repainted into Orion Pax might look cool, I'm interested in seeing how that would turn out.

Geez, How many Rodimus packs have Hasbro/TakaraTomy released so far this year.

To my accout it's like somehwere around 4 or 5 times. I like the soudn of the Junkion Warrior. Why are all Army buildling charecters so damn exclusive and expensive.

I'm guessing Hot Rod, Galvatron, and Cyclonus will be TakaTomy releases of the Battle in Space/ Challenge at Cybertron version of those figures. No clue what Kup and Scourge will be. Straight-up repackages of the United figures?

Think we'll see Junkyard/Junkion Warrior at mass-retail from Hasbro?

Well Hasbo might finally be playing the third party game. If so, they are obviously banking on the Fansproject armouor release. Wouldn't that be awesome? If they actually embraced the add-on market and made figures we will all buy because of them. Just think if they had re-released Magnus when the armour came out

E-hobby doesn't really follow that pattern as far as I know. Most likely they are going to be sweet ass re-paints

Hey Takara Tomy, why don't you REALLY celebrate the 10th anniversary by getting e-hobby to reissue the G1 versions of these.

Scourge and Wreck Gar would be amazing...

That would make FansProject Hasbro's li'l ol' biatch. I would cease collecting from FansProject if this is the case. FansProject's "Collector" was gathering momentum and buzz throughout the fandom, then here comes big money in to steal their thunder. Classy, Hasbro.

    Back on topic:
If you're willing to spend $200 per exclusive set, I got a bridge to sell ya. Bottom line; any Japanese Generations remould will be offered to North America as well. Those exclusive seekers that so many people went after for $100 a piece, are the same toys you can pick off the pegs here for $12.00. Burn baby, burn.

So hasbro is doing something wrong by re-inventing a figure that they brought to market 25 years ago? And I wouldn't count on a Hasbro release, we havent seen almost any of the ehobby releases in the past make it here through Hasbro. The last two seekers were an exception and not the standard.

As far as the figures themselves go, here's hoping that somehow the Wreck-gar retool and Scourge repaint come packaged together, and we get a Black Roddy. Other than Gavli, this set has all the makings of being sick, can't wait to see the actual pictures.

Wait, how is there blame for Hasbro here? Hasbro's Wreck-Gar mold was in design and production for a year or more before we ever found out about it. Long before Collector was ever made public. We're going to fling crap at a company for doing something someone else also did, which they can't possibly have known about?

Actually, I don't think it's going to be a six pack, but rather a set of 2 3-packs.

I was responding to the idea that Hasbro is embracing the third party market. Embracing does not equate to capitalizing upon (in the context of the initial poster's statement). If they were to embrace them, it would be along the lines of a collaborative effort on a new project. And yeah... the last two seekers were an exception. Can't wait to tell you, "I told you so."

Okay, then it was pure coincidence. I don't buy that for a minute.
