Fair enough, I'm aware that they don't need to actually be rubbed to work. However, these are not my pics, I don't have him yet.
Yeah I know, but its a bit to much for such a small toy I think.. but hey Im not as rich as most people. So its expensive to me. I would say its more like a Dodge Charger meets Mustang.
Looks good, but I wish he transformed without the hood on his chest, (similar to FP Munitioner, no car artifact obvious on the body), a feature that distinguishes him from the other G1 autobot sports car. It would have been cool if he had the dark grey torso and more blocky arms and thighs. As it is, he's somewhat reminiscent of so many G1 "deluxe" (along with Binaltech/Alternators and CHUG recreations) autobots with a "hoody" for a chest.
Windcharger's in this wave: Scout 2011 Series 01 - Case of 12 - Transformers 2010 Transformers Scout 2x Backfire 1x Insecticon 2x Breacher 1x Firetrap 2x Sunspot 2x Windcharger 2x Chopsaw The other new toy in the wave is Chopsaw, the Brimstone repaint. BBTS were asking $19 for Windcharger by itself and it sold out in hours! Now yes, there's just two per case, and yes, the rest of the case is just repaints or older toys. But $19 seems a little on the vertical side of pricey and gives me "Armada Scourge" twitchiness about an end of line toy. I ordered a case, am selling the stuff I don't need cheap amongst friends and ebaying the spare Windcharger .... My bank balance needs a rest !
That's probably smart. I'm going to be very sad if I can't find this guy. but $18 was just a little too outrageous for me, and when it comes right down to it, I don't NEED a Windcharger in my life. I'll just haunt the Junkion Exchange for it for a couple months/years.
No idea who Armada Scourge is. I remember Armada Nemesis Prime, which I got for my ex g/f's kid. If I'd known how rare that crap was. Now that I think about it, I also got him the all yellow Landfill and one of the desert Ruination. Hindsight...
I'm mostly a Bee collector, but I'd surely want to have this! I hope they make a Classic Camaro Scout Class Bee, hehe.
I figured that you did know that, but that video had me wondering. Also, I realized those weren't your pics after seeing who originally posted them, which is why I mentioned that others are likely rubbing the stickers too hard as well. In any case, Windcharger looks great and you make excellent video reviews.
There is the legends version. (You have no idea how long it took me to get the "clean" 1st version.) The bonus of having it is that it's the same size as '84-86 Bumblebee and the rest of the mini-cars. If I want to represent the IDW "leader" Bumblebee, I just use the legends ROTF one. Which reminds me, I've been meaning to repaint the windows on Movie 1 Legends. It bothers me that the back windshield isn't painted. I also want to get a 2nd movie legends Cliffjumper, which I will make into "movie legends Windcharger".
