Interesting. I guess they can't reveal EVEYTHING at conventions, because we'd never be surprised and I am surprised with wreck-gar. I loved that guy .

The listing states Wreck-Gar as a deluxe, Brimstone is a scout.

Brimstone is a Scout, Wreck-Gar is a deluxe...
Selling my collection here. From G1 to now, Botcon, 3rd party, name it. Updated 04.30.13.

This is a deluxe, so either it's a new mold, or a nameslap on a random repaint, because I have no idea what movie mold would suit him beyond Brimstone, and that's a scout.

If I remember, wasn't there an unused classic Prime mold that resembled the voyager? I keep seeing talk of a new Prime, but I don't think anyone has brought this up, yet. I thought molds cost money.

The original idea for Classics Prime was as a Deluxe, and a prototype was made, but they decided to go with a Voyager instead (same design, just different size). As far as we know a mold of the Deluxe was never made, just the prototype. Much like the canceled Titanium figures they showed off at a previous Botcon.

From what I know, the next step would have been the mold making process, which seems to be the most costly step in the whole process.

Yeah, Classics Prime was originally going to be a deluxe. It got to the proto phase, before they up-sized it. I already brought it up earlier in the thread.

When it comes to Prime, there can really only be four possibilities.
1: WFC Prime mold.
2: Deluxe Armada Prime mold.
3: Classics two-pack mold.
4: A new mold of some sort.

Bee only has three. There's only WFC, Classics, and a new mold.

Where do you even think they came from? Zobovor from ATT (long-standing fandom member) works for Wal-Mart. That's where he got them.
People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.
