The toy won't be available for places outside Japan anyway.
Different places have different taste in coloring.
If people over there says it works then it's their pick. Nothing more beyond that.

Hmm I already have US EG Bumblebee.....
getting prowl and prime (and my hoped future repaints of ratchet and bulkhead) will not be cheap

It's a discussion forum. I'm discussing. You may argue if you wish.

And my point is that this one is cool to some people. They all are. Regardless of how you or I feel about a given toy, some are going to like it, and some others aren't. Blanket statements about what "people" or "the fans" want can't be made based on one person's opinion.

And if I were one of the designers, I'd be insulted by your implication that "just a little thought" wasn't put into this toy.

Newest Additions: Lots of stuff I'm too lazy to list right now.

Disagree on both points. People buy for many different reasons. I don't watch or like the Animated show (as much as I tried), so a frame of reference for me does nothing. If they want to add a couple Elite Guard characters to the lineup as Japanese exclusives, I say the more the merrier. As far as Bumblebee goes, the sub may not be the best part of it, but it is definately a worthwhile addition. I think it is great to see a few different accessories to go with Transformers.

Personally I like it. Only two small complaints: the placement of the EG emblem (though I admit that one is growing on me, for some reason... maybe because in truck mode it looks like a beauty mark or something) and the blue windows. All that red/black/gold looks so nice together, I feel the blue windows are taking away from it a little bit. I think they would have looked better in smoky transparent grey.

But otherwise, a nice, somewhat odd figure.

I could pass on this one...unless the price is right...which is probably won't be.

I want to move to Japan! Well not really, however, I am jealous and love this paint scheme for some odd, strange reason. I think it is way more creative than painting him black...cough**
