New Optimus Prime...with incredible 'Robo-jaundice' feature.

What is the point of repaints that have nothing do do with anything and slapping an elite guard name to it.

Prowl, fair enough, looks like the original colour for the animated character and mimics the G1 colour scheme, but Prime and bumblebee just no.

OK LISTEN UP HASBRO/TAKARA TYPES! Repaints need to serve a purpose beyond just selling more toys. If its a new paint job the character had in the show or film fair enough don't just make them up and say they're something else. You'll end up with shelf warmers.
People aren't interested in Goldfire Grimlock or elite guard bumblebee when theres no frame of reference. And the only reason fans are looking at Hydrodive Bumblebee is because its new mold, nothing to do with the sub attachement...and kids are just going to loose that bit and play with the car
Fugative Waspinator (while having an inaccurate name)is more along the right lines but why not just remould the head for a proper Wasp head...look how well it worked with cyberton Ratchet and Ironhide.

Not sure why so many are hating on the EG symbol placement. Think of it like a Starfleet arrowhead on [insert Star Trek character]'s uniform.

Please don't try to speak for all fans.

I'm very interested in this toy, and have already arranged to get one. And I think Hydro BB's vehicle looks great. I know I'm not alone in this, but I know far better than to insist everyone loves the toys because I do.

Beside all that, this is a Takara/Million Publishing book exclusive toy. All those have ever been are funky redecos. (See: Emergency Green Ratchet, Protect Ironhide, Skids & Screech, and Electro Disruptor Ligier.)

I really dig this re-paint

I really don't want to argue.
My point was that repaints can be cool, it just seems that a lot of them have been hasily knocked together and that with just a little thought they can be really good.
