If you thought your Cybertronian Optimus Prime toy needed some pimping out, you're going to get it soon enough. we now introduce the fine folks over at third party Corbot V. This group of artists have outfitted Optimus Prime with the axe he wields in Transformers: War For Cybertron. Titled the 'War Axe', we get a glimpse of the prototype of this third party add-on. Check it all out below!

Congrats to Venksta, sweet axe he's got there. If it ain't too expensive, i'd get one, but first i need a WFC Prime.

Although really well done, it isn't accurate. WfC Prime's axe is double-headed and more rounded.
    Do like, though.

Actually it is accurate, to the version seen in the intro movie. Venksta also polled people into which version would be more requested, and this was the one that came out on top.

I can't wait to get my hands on this...and hopefully see the other WFC weapons soon. :D

Not bad. If it's cheap I'll certainly pick one up.

Can't see it yet, (work F/W) but from the comments I've read, I'll get one too if the price is reasonable. I can give Chopster back to Smolder. :lol

I was meaning game-play accurate. In the actual game, the axe is double-headed. No offense intended to the designers.

Oh, very nice. So... when is this baby going to be available for us to order? I'll assuredly pick this suck up if it's reasonably priced.

    Nice! Colour me highly interested.

The handle looks a little wonky to me, but I expect that's due to it having to come apart.

I knew that someone making one of these was inevitable, and it looks great. I was hoping it would be modular, though, so it could be single- or double-headed.

The killer thing will be the price. As long as they don't go with the Crazy Devy pricing scheme, I might pick one up.

Will it be a million billion dollars like that one giant sword thingy? Just seeing that almost made me give up on fan-made items altogether. I appreciate the economics of these small companies and custom shops, but I cannot bring myself to spend high-double digits on a weapon.

Probably not going to go for this either way, but it sure is a nice piece. Kudos to the designers and crafters. :)
