Does anyone know when they're scheduled to start in DC? I'm so excited! and... sad that I recently had to quit my job at the Air and Space museum, but well, it happens.

I'm trying to remember, aren't they heading to film parts of TF3 in Detroit sometime this month?

 

So their next filming will be in Detroit at the old Packard Plant.

I hope they won't do much damage to the plant. I've read somewhere the owner of the plant wants to restore and preserve it.

i love my city. i'll represent anyway i can. the fact that tf's one of my favorite things/hobbies and that the third and possibly final movie is taking place in chicago is great. double whammy. i'm glad i was able to contribute news and pictures for yah folks.

 

I got my firs news credit based on the Shockwave-head-on-a-stick.

Though parts of the movie I already know, like when I overheard some crew a month ago talking about what tha tilting platfom in LA is for.

 

Yep. The guy who was telling the crew before the first big day said that a giant drillbot would come down and cleave the one building in two.

I know they're wrapping up their filming in Chicago. But what I was asking was for verification that they'll be filming in Detroit, because last I heard they would be coming to Detroit some point this month (August).

You might want to read what people post, word to word, before you respond to avoid making such a mix-up like this.

 

I have been working at a hospital clinic for two years, and never have I gotten the satisfaction of helping the comunity as I did posting a news article and getting a news credit.

ive got a good feeling this will be a ton better than ROTF.

 

mysterious object looks like...a toe. or possibly a whole foot. it's around the right size, too.
maybe they needed a prop foot for a scene.

 

If they can give us a decent story that doesn't act as a molotov cocktail of Bay's sensibilities, Transformers lore and character development whipped into a frappe-like frenzy, we should be safe.

 

and another update. Looks like it's wrapping up by this weekend, sept 1. BUT looks like Di Bonaventura LOVES Chicago and might extend the filming some more!
