    Not only do they create ANOTHER new character, but they chose a name that they had to put "AUTOBOT" in front of?!?! WTF?!?!?!

    That... actually makes things worse....

    I wonder how this will go down with Capcom? You know TF3 will end up with a Game and toys, Both of which already involve a little red robot dog/jet/coil/sub. Maybe they'll have some more autobots named flip-top, beat, auto, roll, eddie, tango, etc....

    what a crappy name , although I did name one of my characters in WFC Zoom , So who am I to diss. I would have prefered Hot Rod though

    As far as I can tell, the new autobot's Name,
    Rush
    , has only been used in Transformers Fiction as the name of an episode. It's possible that the name and character are an homage to Rodimus/Hot Rod. Or Hot Shot. Or someone red and stylin'.

    ....Or it could be a G1 Sideswipe homage.
