I'd guess the free figure is unknown and then:

2-pack of Doublepunch & Rapido
3-pack of Sharkticons
Shattered Glass 2-pacK of SG Wheeljack with either SG Ratchet or SG Galvatron

So, that will give us:

I call the Gnaw as part of a 3-pack because of last years Sweep set. If I remember correctly, it sold out very quickly. Plus it'll give Sky-Byte some troops to command.
I'm thinking you're right, but I'm willing to bet good money that the freebie figure isn't Rapido because he has a new head that isn't used in the box set.

The Sharkticon is most likely the freebie, at least out of what we've seen. It's a mold already used, and with Rapido, he's unlikely free what with the new head. Slicer probably isn't free either unless that mold is used again.

I just remembered something from last year... Wasn't there some news report from Botcon that the Sweeps were going to be available for three years?

I don't remember ever hearing anything like that.

I didn't think about Doublepunch before when I commented that I'd be surprised if this was a BotCon thing. That could work, especially if the E Downshift redeco is Slicer. I could see that being a set. Of course, if that's the case, Slicer will have an Autobot symbol.

I still don't know what to think about the freebie. I half think we haven't seen it yet.

Newest Additions: Lots of stuff I'm too lazy to list right now.

With the reveal of SG Ravage, it's now just as likely that the Downshift recolor is SG Wheeljack. So... it -could- be a Euro-AM set with Double Punch/Slicer. Or it -could- be a SG bonus pack with Wheeljack/Ravage, and Scorch also thrown in to connect to the main set. It's certainly been an odd year for Botcon.

My current prediction...

Freebie - Gnaw or (Unknown)
2-pack - Double Punch + Rapido
2-pack - Scorch + SG Ravage + SG Slicer
3-pack - Gnaw + Troopbuilders (assuming we get another 3-pack)

Barely-used feedback thread

I'm assuming there are going to be 3 add-on sets this year. It worked so well last year, they'd be crazy not to do it again.

Anyway, back to topic, I have E. Scorpy and love the mold. I almost tend to think they'll use the Dark Scorponok mold for this, as it appears Hasbro has enjoyed reintroducing the cyber-key gimmick since '07 movie line. However this repaint could allow them to create/repaint a Lord Zarak Mini-Con...

The one thing that this mold really needs, imo, are swivel joints at the elbow much his 3" Titanium counter part has.

Hmmmm. With the news of Scorch today, I'd say that fills in the unknown figure. So now it'll look like this.

1 box set w/Spark, Streetstar, Clutch, Breakdown, and Sky-Byte.
1 Free figure. (either Rapido or Slicer)
1 2-pack w/Double Punch and a deluxe (either Rapido, Slicer, or Scorch)
1 2-pack of Deluxes. (either Rapido, Slicer, or Scorch)
1 3-pack of sharkticons. (including Gnaw)

I'm not gonna call Scorch as the freebie figure cause he comes with SG Ravage. Given that Rapido has a new head, I'll say Slicer is most likely the free one.
