Looks like my thoughts about this being a video game tie-in book was correct. Just like how they did The Force: Unleashed.

Awesome, I can't wait to play the game. I'm glad they decided to base the game on G-1, and not Armada, Energon, or Beast Wars. I'll be sure to read the prequel as well. Games are more interesting with a deep backstory.

 

An $18 hardcover book for a videogame prequel novel? They may be pushing their luck.

 

I wonder if this means that the new TV show might also be some kind of a tie in.

I dont know. Hopefully, since i love novels. Of course those guides and info books are cool too.

 

Bastards are trying to get me to read books without pictures!! They will win this round, but I will win the war!!

 

So their making a book which has been made to advertise a game, which itself will have probably been created to advertise a tv show, which has been created to advertise the the toyline, which will have created a limited series of figures which in fact advertise the game....... i confused myself greatly.         

 

Oh, hell yes.

 

That price makes me think it's a different type of book. Perhaps a guidebook or an artbook.
