That Jetfire "Prototype" will most likely become a ROTF "Silverbolt", look at it...

It's Japan, so it's really up in the air.

I hope that Jetfire repaint isn't the final version. That yellow has GOT to go, Aerialbot reference or not.

Either that, or a reference to G1 Skyfire. Maybe both.

It's probably just me, but the colors seem to reference Tigatron.

    Thanks for the pics!

It's an exclusive in Japan because s250 said so.

We've seen Prototype Jetfire ages ago, at the Smithsonian. Doubtful that the colourscheme we see from the auction will ever hit retail.

That is a pretty typical coloration scheme for prototypes of new figures. They are using it as a prototype of the mold, not a color scheme. That is not at all what any release of the toy will look like as far as colors go, unless they actually do a crazy G1 white'ish release of the figure. There have been images of Animated Megatron prototypes with the same garish coloring scheme. Also a pretty darn cool looking proto of Universe Onslaught that was sold my the same seller: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-ebay/287732-universe-onslaught-proto-testshot.html

Will this item be Japan-limited? The schedule of the MOVIE toy after March is unclear. Is it event-limited product?I expect that a limited item sells it by an event of the summer twice in spring.

The weird blue kinda ruins the figure a bit...still, looks much cooler than the Recon Ravage in my opinion.

That's pretty cool. Better than the mailaway imho. I wish they'd stop even showing that "alt mode". FOLDED KITTY ATTACK!
