ROTF Ice Cream Twins Packaging Variant

Can't see any threads where this packaging variant has been posted before, came across it whilst checking out my local independent toy shops for any new releases. Looks like it came in a case of waves 3 & 4 as also on the pegs were Ravage, Cannon Bee, Jolt etc.

The only ones I've ever seen before have the figures packaged in vehicle mode but apart from each other. IMO, this way of packaging looks better.

Cool. I do think transformers in general look better packaged in their bot mode.

In the long run it makes little difference to me, but to have bought them like that would have been nice! Because, to me, it would have been a nicer surprise to have had to transform them into the ICT as opposed to the other way around, as the ICT was the main reason I wanted them!

I'd rather have them in vehicle mode. It just seems like the robot mode is the toy you want and the vehicle is the packaging. You have to solve the vehicle puzzle to get to the robot. So getting some of these tfs in robot mode is not a whole lot of fun for me. :/

Agreed! I buy for the bots, not just for the vehicles, else I'd just collect Jada
I guess vehicle modes just look more eye-catching/appealing to the kids and 'casual' buyers.

Thanks guys.
Yep, it is yet another in an ongoing series of Skids & Mudflap changes. First we had Skids with and without metallic teeth, then Mudflap with two different licence plates, now we get this. And all that before the repaints hit the stores!

i

I think they did this to show parents there are 2 robots, to convey that you get 2 robots for the same price as the other deluxes.

You know some parents would never even look at the card back.
