New Legends Figures Repaints - Smokescreen, Starscream, Shadow Striker, Bumblebee

Hi everyone,

I ran a search, and couldn't find any results for this. Allspark.com just uploaded official Hasbro photos of (at least, what I think are) new Legends figures repaints. These include another repaint of of TF1 Starscream, into night camouflage; Bumblebee; Smokescreen, repainted from Legends Universe Rodimus, and Shadow Striker, repainted from Legends Universe Wheelie! Also available will be repaints of Mudflap and Skids, who might be named after the FAB versions.

This at least gives those who couldn't find, or didn't like the paint jobs of, Rodimus or Wheelie a chance to own the molds.....

To be honest, I think I'd rather have the original Roulette and Shadow Striker set.

that starscream mould is absolutely frigging horrible, i bought the ROTF cybertron tattoo one because i didn't believe it could possibly be as bad as everybody told me, but christ it's genuinely awful. you should all by it so you can hate it as much as me. shame really, the black repaint raptor looks pretty cool.

edit, what's up with the mistransformation too? how can you mis-transform a toy with, like, 5 moving parts ffs?

I've added in the Mudflap and Skids picture. I kind of forgot them.

From what I understand, the photos are not taken by the designers of the figure, but rather by a professional photography company. I'm not 100 percent certain I'm correct, though.

Thanks for sharing those pics! I'm excited to have all of those, eventhough they are repaints. Although Starscream looks like the k.o. i saw at the the mall yesterday.

Interesting. Looks like these may be some new 2-packs. Might get a couple if I ever see them in-store.

This is the second black Starscream Legends repaint, I woulda figured we'd get one Skywarp by now, but ah well.

Shadow Striker? Damn. Well, I guess they had to repaint Wheelie into SOMEBODY.

I would've preferred the Jazz mold get repainted into Smokescreen to keep consistent with the Deluxe and FAB releases, but this will do. The twins seem somewhat consistent with their FAB releases.

I'll spring for the 2-packs (hopefully this means the return of the VS packs on the shelves ala Allspark battles), and the FAB Jolt repaint, but pass on the rest.

Wheelie repainted into a chick

These appear to be in 2-packs. So, I will buy the Shadow Striker/BB pack and Smokescreen/Starscream packs, but The Twins pack is a pass. The look to "different from the same" for my taste.

Yeah that one's so bad it makes me laugh (bought the 07 original deco). Some repaints of him look OK, I'm even tempted by the tats one, but not worth spending another $6 ~ 7 bucks.

Smokescreen looks cool...but I still want Rodimus
