| I'm not saying don't make repaints, I'm saying make repaints that matter. The only one that's drastically changed is Soundwave, which I think is ok, but power-ranger destro prime? Why not make nemesis prime or a real Ultra Magnus?
The answer is probably that the kids are familiar with the normal prime, so why not make a deluxe Cliffjumper, or another one of the familiar Bumblebee repaints. Or even a battle damaged Jazz? anything that has any relevance whatsoever to a real character! | |
