So will this be a Canadian exclusive like the black and gold ROTF Leader Prime Amazon Japan exclusive or can I get this in the states?

I really hope this isn't the only steelbook that they do. I have both versions of the ones they did for the 2-Disc edition of the first movie and have been holding my breath that they'd do the same thing again for ROTF - one case with an Autobot logo and one with a Decepticon logo in this new white design.

Fingers crossed.

Why would you wanna have the same case twice?

Because they're not the same. The Future Shop steelbooks for the first movie came in two versions - one with the Bot symbol and one with the Con symbol. I'd like to see them do that again with ROTF, but instead of having a black background, having this new white background instead. It would just make for a nice & visually consistent collection of the movies.

You must have some collector money put aside! I'm only buying one copy of the DVD even if some cases are nice and all, i'm not going to buy the same DVD over and over just for the box.

Well I'm a pretty avid DVD collector AND a big fan of cool packaging, so that's why I bought both versions of the original steelcases. I initially just bought the Autobot one, but it drove me nuts knowing that there was a Decepticon one out there as well, so I went back and got it. It was well worth the extra $16 or $18 imo.

Regardless, even if they don't release two separate versions again, I hope there's at least one 2-Disc steelbook version. I *hate* how all the Blu-Ray cover art gets ruined with that goddy blue strip running along the top, and it's actually the reason why I haven't switched over to that format yet haha.

I'm not a big fan of the BR covers either, just kinda bugs me that they are now pulling the same crap they did with VHS once DVD came out. Having BR edition have exclusive features that DVD won't. I don't like being forced to buy something, why can't we have same version for both?
