Wow, that black Prime looks really nice. I hope it makes it's way to the US in some capacity although being an exclusive like that I'm not sure what the chances are, probably not good though. If I had the money I might would consider importing it.

 

Last I checked, people outside of Japan could order from Amazon.co.jp. I ordered some stuff from them two years ago.

 

So it's no different than ordering from English Amazon.com?
I mean, I can read katakana, but I'd worry about making a mistake somewhere along the way...
Though as long as they take PayPal I'd probably be okay.

 

You can change the Amazon.co.jp page to english when you start the order process...however you can't have the item shipped to North America.

They ship books and CD/DVD internationally. They don't ship toys overseas as a rule, but this is sold under DVD category and I could place my order (no teal in him, but hey he'll look good with by Black Big Convoy  ) with my Aus address. I've just sent an enquiry email to them just to make sure, will post the reply if I get it soon.

OP747, they don't take paypal, but you can use your credit card. You need to have an account with them as well  

 

You can ship it to the United States. I just made out an order, and it didn't say otherwise.

I freakin' hope they can ship, because that's a ton of money I just dropped.

Yeah I did manage to "successfully" pre-order this, it's easy making an international address account there.
I just prefer the security of PayPal, but as long as I get my black and gold RotF Optimus I'll be happy.  

 

They don't charge your card until they ship the item out.

 

That's a relief.
I just hope that, due to that customs thing, they actually ship the TOY along with the DVD, and don't just send the DVD due to their internat'l shipping restrictions.
Though I'd hope that if there were a problem, I'd be notified ahead of time.

I've bought Galaxy Force DVD w/Noisemaze toy the same way and they shipped it no problem to Australia. I just asked them if it's ok this time because the toy is much bigger. I hope they won't back out!
