So what's the big deal with this one? | You're forgetting the Spotlights and you really can't call it ongoing without including them. They were a way to cram out more books per month and flesh out characters, but then they started being used as prologues to future plot threads. Until they threw 75% of that in the toilet and contradicted the other 25% with AHM, that is.
Also, Maximum Dinobots should be included, which primarily serves as Furman's IDW epilogue.

Why bother? They're going to tell one story, and then reboot again.
Maybe all stories should be self contained. That way every issue can be a "jumping on point" which they seem to need frequently.

So basically this is IDW's SECOND ongoing TF series.
So why are they trying to hype it up like it's all that big of a deal?
