TFW2005 Transformers Q&A Answers for August 2009 from Hasbro

Do they deliberately choose questions they can't answer.

These question are retarded, When I read through the list of questions in the thread there were seriously like 20 better question then these such garbage WTF were you people thinking who picked these 3 to submit

Chances that any real, probing questions are instantly rejected by the Hasbro bot answering them? 99.5%.

I don't really think it's worth getting all outraged over. This is a pattern as old as time.

the classic line seems to be geting some love with next years revenge of the fallen line those toys dont look very movieish to me.

But besides that We always ask the wrong questions

Agreed. Nothing groundbreaking... If anything I'm disappointed about no large G1 Robot Hero sets. And we've already heard about the "Discovery Communications" thing.

Yeah, these were pretty lame questions and perfect for allowing vague answers. Concerning question #2 specifically, I would have liked to have seen them asked whether they'd consider doing releases like that through HTS.com, rather than just the vague "to the collectors market".

Why does no one call them out on this? They told us specifically that Animated and Universe/Classics were on hiatus until next year. I knew they would do this. They at first tell us, "No, no, no, we're not canceling one of the most popular and loved lines by you fans. We're putting it on "hiatus" it'll be back we promise." And then turn around after their big reveal (in this case the movie 2 line) is out say "Yea, that line you liked? It's canceled. We told you that." They know that if they had said outright "Yea, we're canceling all those other lines for this other one that's going to make us a lot of money." Then they'd lost support of a huge piece of the fan base and they'd see reduced sales. Hasbro will just string us along to keep us happy. The bad side is, we can't do anything because if the fan base does say "Forget you Hasbro, we're done." They'll just say "Ok, see ya, we don't need you, we have the children and their parents." And that's that.

seriously!? who picked these questions! i think the one about weather we were gonna get any more constructicon toys or for flairup was the most asked question on there! and they shouldn't tell us what not to ask questions about. because people are still gonna ask them. and in this case, alot of people did. i think we should have gotten thouse questions answered instead of these lame ass questions. the only one i thought was worth asking out of these 3 was the one about the robot heroes! and thats the only one we got a strait answer for!
