eHobby listing says this is eHobby exclusive in Japan, and TakTom page says "This item will not have another domestic release". (emphasis are by me.)
Autobase Aichi suggests the probability of Asian release. Is it common that eHobby exclusives get general release in Asia?

No, but they have had Asian only re-releases of Masterpiece figures.

Well, guess theres no hope of them recasting the left shoulder with the Decepticon Insignia now.
Ah well... I'm sure that'll with the future version with Trailer and so forth.

Still waiting on the Blue version of this mold. It's bound to happen.
Someday, I'll finish these things.

This is a rumour some other member has heard of: Third Party Releasing Black MP OP? - Cybertron.CA - Canadian Transformers News and Discussion

I'm skeptical, I have never heard of ehobby stuff being sold by anyone else other than themselves or reissued.I think it just might be iGear releasing the mini MP KO in black or just mis-translated for the Black trailer they're going to release.

It is very unusual that eHobby and TakaraTomy have such statement on their product pages. I just wonder if this might be some sort of prepared cop out when the figure is released outside Japan

I don't think it's going to make much of a difference for price, you're going to have 1 or 2 middlemen in the way anyways.
