I don't know about Powerglide. I have the black purple one which looks better imo.

For the mainline Universe figures, retailers wanted "realistic" colors. For exclusive figures, Hasbro goes to the retailers with the decos and tries to "sell" them on the concepts. At least that's what I've gathered...

Sucks that two out of three Insecticons can't keep their names. Not that it matters... Just ask Octane.

Anywho, for anyone who already has the first issue of Powerglide, all is not wasted. Just get this on reprolabels. http://www.reprolabels.com/Classics/Classics/Mapchothouse.jpg That's what I'm doing.

Hardshell, Kickback, and Sharpshot. Interesting names.

I'll be getting Powerglide (I have the Japanese & USA versions), but not the Insecticons (I have the Japanese reissue which this is the same as).

Powerglide to me is the most boring release of this mold, as (if it looks like it did at Botcon) I don't like the color layout. It's too plain or something.

& I don't think that Powerglide looks as good as the TakaTom version.  

 

Might pick up the red Powerglide. I've always been interested in the expensive Japanese version. I'm glad that I'll eventually be able to get one for half the price here in the states.

I still like the original from last year. But I might use him for custom parts.

 

Definitely want the Insecticons. One of the UK online stores are bound to get them. Kapow and Toyz and Gamez, I mean you!
