I went opening night at midnight, and heard so many people saying they'll have to see it a few more times to take it all in. I'll be going twice more, but that'll be it.
I wonder what the numbers will jump to once the DVD/BlueRay is released?

It's a summer blockbuster/action popcorn movie. I don't care what people think, I liked it, that's all that matters. |

In terms of character, thematics and even plot Summer Action movies are very underdeveloped, and its sad that people get off watching things blow up rather than something that poses new questions, or explores an idea. I understand the thrill of watching things blow up, but there are Summer popcorn flicks that try to be more than what their genre tells them to be. This isn't one of them.
Revenge of the Fallen was a tasteless barrage of offensive images, and for what it is, what its intending to be its fantastic. However taken out of the context of Bay, the Transformers franchise, and fan hype in general, its just another Batman and Robin.
Latest Spoils: ROTF Gears, ROTF Mudflap, Universe 2.0 Inferno,

The critics, the Hollywood elite and the small vocal internet minorty, maybe. But the general movie going public, who would normally make up the general consensus, seems to enjoy the entertainment and escapism that summer blockbusters offer. I know this because they buy tickets. Lots of them. Sig pictures are to be no larger than 40KB in file size and should be no larger than 300 pixels in height and 500 pixels wide - 2005 Staff |

Not gonna start dissing critics, I simply don't care about them enough to even warrant doing that. |
