...and in other news, Michael Bay is somewhere laughing histerically at all the haters that have spent the last 3 years bitching that his Transformers weren't 'G1 enough'. I'm not taking away from the effort put into this, but it looks terrible.

The torso is pretty long but it's not a bad representation of his character model from the series. It's actually pretty good for something that people did in their spare time and it's made from an actual Beetle to boot.

Yeah, because you can totally compare what two guys did in their spare time with an old VW beetle with $100 million worth of work done by world's largest SFX companies.

ILM and the like could have made G1 designs work on screen. They just didn't want to.
