i like it, and the fact there is a hook for grapple they are allowing for customs/if hasbro makes a grapple repaint and has no hook/not a good one

I don't even fully understand how the ladder swaps with the watergun on Inferno- isn't it pinned? Or how the missile launcher attaches to Mirage- doesn't seem pegged in the photos.

Man, I really like this set.... I'm still not 100% okay with Inferno having a ladder in this pumper truck incarnation, and I don't like the fact that you have to yank it off the pin-plug every time you want to move it to his arm, but... the guns and the autoscout are 100% awesome.

If the quality of the one I get is anywhere near the quality in these photos, I'll be super happy. The production values seem really high, and I applaud their creativity and presentation. Mine can't arrive soon enough.

I like this set. I will probably pick this up.

I don't understand why everyone is getting their panties in a wad over the color combinations of the three guns... The possibilities are awesome if you don't force yourself to adhere to existing conventions. After all, you're introducing totally unlicensed third-party weaponry anyways, right? So use your imaginations a little, why don't you?



G1 Sideswipe has Black Launcher, White Missile.
G1 Red Alert has Black Launcher, Red Missile.
G1 Mirage has Black Launcher, Chrome Missile.

BUT...

G1 Sideswipe came with a fully white rifle.
G1 Red Alert came with a fully red rifle.
G1 Mirage came with a fully chrome rifle.

AND...

Classics Sideswipe already has a Black gun/shoulder cannon with a White tip.
Henkei Red Alert already has a Chrome gun/shoulder cannon with a Red tip. (OMG NOT G1 CANON)
Classics/Henkei Mirage doesn't really get much of anything.
Drag Strip and Fracture also end up sort of weaponless...

So why not give Red Alert a fully red handgun,
Give Mirage the Black launcher with the chrome missile,
and give the chrome launcher with the black missile to Fracture as a shoulder cannon, or Sideswipe as a handgun?

Hell, consider the other poor Classics saps who would be glad to have such a nice handgun!
Cliffjumper would polish it every day if you'd let him have one. Hound wouldn't turn down a free weapon, either.
Maybe even try leaving the pointy missile tip off, and having just a pistol...

...or worst case scenario, buy some paint, people.
(or wait for someone to recast them in different colors to satisfy your part swapping lust)

can Inferno's ladder be placed on his back aside from his arms? I think i've seen a picture of him that way.

That is all and good. But God forbid you actually want all three toys to have their classic G1 launchers. Easy solution for me: not buying it (for several reasons).

And paint chrome? Sir, are you mad?

this is a cool set, but i just cant justify buying them.
