    Already bought the one that I wanted before the $4.99 clearance....didn't feel the need to go get the other.

    Wow, talk about a face palm moment.

    I saw both sets yesterday still at 4.99, haven't looked today. There were very few though, they're likely gone anyway.

    THEY CALL TAKING 2 BUCKS OFF A CLEARENCE SALE?!!!!!!!! WHAT A RIPOFF! i guess i wont be buying the shockwave 2 pack thanks alot target.

    That's what the confusion was.

    The price was listed as a "sale", but the actual price itself was more akin to a clearance. Looks like Target's bigwigs realized after their weekend off that they had screwed the pooch hardcore, and had to raise the price back.

    The ones around here in Northern IL all seem to be gone as a result of the 4.99 price. I've heard a few reports of seeing the 22.99 price point. Whoops! Luckily I managed to get them to refund me the money from when I bought them at 24.99!

    i suppose this typ of thing can happen with any product, its just that with it being a rather nice transformer toy that we kinda go all crazy over it!!

    i decided to just wait and maybe get it on friday or something but sadly the sale has already been pulled back(biggest price mistake I've Seen in Awhile)

    to hell with getting both at $44!
    I'd Rather Get Jetfire+Jetstorm for the price of one of them

    Ah ha ha ha! I find that hilarious! Especially in this economy! Though I am sad they changed it cause I was gonna go back tomarrow and get Sunstorm.

    Thats what I did and I figure since its good until 5/22/09 and the sets went back up in price I should be able to get them both before time runs out.

    Well, at least that might stabilize stock umbers long enough for me to at least snag one of the Vs. sets, preferably the Purple Shockwave set over Sunstorm, but either one will do for me.

    Man I lucked out! I literally ran into the Target and got THE LAST SHOCKWAVE SET THEY HAD!
    Snagged me an Animated Snarl to boot. Cost me only $15 :D

    That 80% off was unheard of for something that had been on shelves for three weeks. Glad I got in on it, I was going to pass on Grape Drink Shockwave but I absolutely couldn't pass for a fiver. Now I can make an Activator Wasp repaint!

    This is insane. Especially knowing that many of us succeeded in getting a price adjustment on the 2-packs just yesterday. Man - Target just lost an f-load of money indeed.

    Grats to everyone that actually scored these on the straight-up cheap, too - it was a killer deal while it lasted.

    can target do anything to make Transformers fans come to they're store after the price hike?
    i mean they don't really have any good deals on them and the price slip was what caused people to rush to target
