Hmm... could be a good thing. Depending who would replace them. Or could be a really, really, REALLY bad thing. Depending who would replace them.

    Noooo. :C

I love what they've done so far.

Hell, just look at Fringe, that show is amazingly good.

New blood is not always a good thing, it's better to have the same old reliable formula.

Kinda like New Coke and how it completely bombed.

But seriously, keep Orci and Kurtzman and only add-on who ever you think would be a good replacement for them. Have all of them collaborate together and that way you get the best of everything.

Orci and Kurtzman said similar things about TF1 and TF2. Fortunately, on the first one they were enticed by 'a boy and his car', and on the second it was 'being away from home'. I'm sure they'll stick around.

As long as the next one is good and just as nerdy, we're fine!

Yeah, I agree. I'm going to wait until I see ROTF before I worry about who's writing TF3.

"Time for fresh blood" aka "how much will you pay me to stick around and write TF3?"

Darn that's a tough call there.

Two really nice guys and it's great the way they take time out to interact with the fans. I'm sure we wouldn't get that same level of interaction with any other writers.

Sort of mixed feelings on them leaving because they have written some stuff I totally loved, but their script for the first Transformers movie just really didn't appeal to me at all. We haven't seen the second film yet so it's hard to say if they were able to bring their really good stuff to it or it's more of a repeat.

Given how busy they are these days writing for this, that, and the other I could see where they might be too busy for a third film. But I wish them the best no matter what they decide to do.

Damn, I'm the only one happy by this news?

Look.. The movie was good due to 1 thing, CGI..Big robots transforming..

    The writing was horrible..

    Peace boys..Go ruin Star Trek.

Sorry if I hurt anyone’s feelings.

Oh good, now they just need to fire Bay, hire Don Glut, and make an animated movie drawn by Floro Dery involving only G1 characters in their original G1 style and absolutely, positively, NO humans.
    Then everyone will be happy.

Yeah, I recall Bay didn't sign for TF2 so he'd have more leverage financially.
