What's the deal with Habsro's color placements? I just spend a few days painting a BB custom, those colors are so inaccurate. I see something's going on with the hand, near the thumb. looks like they added thumb articulation? Still, it lacks detail and color, so poor.
wait a second......looks like theres a slightly new transformation for bb.look at his arms.unlike the tfmovie 1 bb its not the top hood of the car thats on his arms.and he also has new shoulder armour.
DECEPTIKONBRAWL I think your right. His whole upper section looks remolded. I dont think he can fold down his front Car grill like previous molds.
Looked at it again... guess it could be real - esp since the arms & stomach look new & real. Guess the roof is on his back, the front wheels pull out and/or rotate in to rotate the shoulder joints out & the new arms hide under the stomach in alt mode. I can see people grabbin' this guy just to improve the 08 model... Gotta agree, painted windows = LAME.
Different priorities. Hasbro have to deal with a limited budget on paint and where parts can fit on sprues in order to keep costs low, so that you can then buy the product cheaply at your Walmart. Comparatively, customisers can use as much paint as they want and as much variety of paint colours and types as they want. Those aren't painted windows. See the windows on his legs? Still transparent blue. The other windows just look weird because the prototype was photographed against a white background and then the photo was messed around in Photoshop.
Pass on Bumblebee, so far none of the ROTF toys have touched the Premium version in my book. Though Human Alliance is tempting, he won't go on the shelf because of how big he'll be compared to Ironhide, etc.
Wow, weird. BB's legs do look exactly the same, and the head is probably the same as the Preview toy. Everything else looks like a new part and transformation scheme, though. The arms look like they're attached to the backs of the front wheels, G1 Kup style. And I have no idea why so many people are calling Activators Ironhide, when we've just heard about Deluxe Cyb Ratchet. Doesn't look like an Activator to me, at any rate. Whatever the case, new Animated test shot = mold made = happy me.
The colors don't matter. Remember how prototype Bulkhead was the same Bright Red as this toy was? Although you're right. It probably is Ratchet.
I prefer the old one Even though I don't own the 2007 Movie Deluxe Bumblebee, I've seen the pictures. I actually prefer the 2007 version too. I wonder why the car doors of the ROTF version are placed horizontally, instead of the original look. Hope that they can be placed the original way. From what I've seen so far from the Leader class Optimus Prime of ROTF; is that the wheels at the hips can be placed much more closer to the hips than depicted in the illustrations. So, I hope that Bumblebee's "Wings" too can be placed accordingly to the original 2007 form. Let's see....Let's see !!!
Geeze, if that is Ratchet then I hope we will eventually get an Ironhide. And I agree that it is a deluxe. If you look at the legs, their placement is too complicated to be an activator.
This Bumble Bee looks real cool! Look at those hands! It might be a Premium Series. I will buy it! (Instead of the Preview)
