Just can't get into the look at all. I came around a little bit to some of the first movie's designs and therefore, some of this movie's, but the Fallen is way too far for me. I think the robot mode is a kind of 'cool' looking, but I don't identify it at all with Transformers and therefore, have no desire to buy it (and I doubt the movie changes that sentiment). That, and the fact the 'alt' mode is uninspired just make this a massive meh for me.

Megatron pretty much falls into the same category for me. Just too alien for my tastes. I guess that is the biggest issue for me. The ones I like - Ratchet, Starscream, Prime - they're clear vehicles and clear robots (whose general look I like - most others I'm not a fan of the movie look), but Megs and the Fallen are just random (though Megs 2 is better than 1)

 

While that is true, from what info we have thus far, he's still the same Fallen character from the War Within, so he probably created the division in Movie Transformers to further Unicron's schemes or something.

The Decepticon symbol is possibly just Hasbro's marketing requirements for clear cut "good guy" and "bad guy" toys, like how Unicron has been sold as a Decepticon toy in recent years.

He meant that like blue Voyager Megatron, The Fallen is a bit off from his in movie colors.

I like it, both modes work together as a package, after all he isn't meant to resemble anything that we'd recognise as a vehicle, it's just another way to get around.

 

Am I the only one that thinks The Fallen wont have an Alt mode in the movie? And they just created one for his toy?

I'm confused again, i like the mold but the colors in these pictures arent as bad as in the last set. I think i'm gonna wait to see it in stores before saying a final word about this toy.

What he said. Plus i get this weird feeling that since Hasbro has been pushing DEV'S figure as the main villain,the FALLEN will have limited screentime like MEGS in the first movie.

 

I think the robot mode looks rather nice. However, the 'jet' mode is a mess-it's a mass of stuff in the loose shape of a jet.

 

I'm gonna have that thing painted in a dirty gunmetal color within 6.5 seconds of removing it from the box.

Ok, maybe not that fast but you see what I mean.  

 

The bot mode looks great, very alien. The alt mode leaves a lot to be desired. No big deal really, when I get him he'll stay in bot mode.

 

Bot mode looks ok, vehicle mode is almost a joke. It looks too much like Megatron from the first movie.

 

The Fallen looks great all around IMO. Will definitely be picking him up.
