My friend shipped it from Tokyo via EMS on wednesday. That is some impressive shipping!!!! Anyway you guys are missing some vital imformation from the "First Look" thread TF Generation 2009 vol.1 Released (first look) after looking thru the book I found these pics in the middle of an interview with three Takara designers. I was able to decipher that this hardcopy is an unreleased Deluxe Convoy. Also if you play "Where's Waldo" you will see the actual Deluxe Prime off to the left, behind Henkei Megs. ![]() Take a close look at the knees and head. the sculpt is very much like Voyager Prime/Convoy but it is definitively different. Plus the height difference is obvious. and NO it is not just a classics prime/convoy prototype. ![]() |

Would have made for some nice Pipes and Huffer kitbashes, imo. Too bad it was never released. Would be kinda cool if they retooled it a bit, made a set of armor to fit it, and produced it as a new Powermaster Prime. I can't be the only one who would like to see that. |

They need to sell hundreds of thousands of these things before it is even worth their time. Granted there are exceptions. Such as ehobby's ability to make small numbers of TFs whose molds were not seen for decades. Like ratchet and ironhide were originally ehobby specials. we didnt see encore for like 5 years later. True vey true I didnt think about it that way. too bad Galvatron got the short stick. | |
