Looks like how he returned has been revealed... BIO: Rebuilt with parts cannibalized from other Decepticons, Megatron rises once again to lead his army. Though the AllSpark destroyed him once, he can now feel its power coursing through his circuitry. It calls him to seize his rightful place as ruler over the puny planet which on he was imprisoned and destroyed, and from which he will launch his conquest of the universe. Optimus Prime is all that stands in the way of victory, and the Autobot leader has done a poor job of hiding himself. At long last, Megatron knows exactly where his enemy is, and he has enough power to destroy him.
...okay, what's the point of that watermark over the face if the package art of the head is still there? Otherwise, DAMN, that looks so much nicer! I'm actually digging this big bulky death machine he turns into, a little more imposing than a flat Earth tank.
nice bot mode, yet the tank looks a bit meh - Megs did not learn his lesson from the first movie and threw one not so great flight mode for a land-based one of about the same "quality". But I've learned my lesson from the first movie, so I am going to wait for the premium version with nice metallic paint.
he looks good but i dont like the tiny left arm and the visible head in alt mode.im curious though about his mech alive thingy,my guess is its about his treads or his arm cannon
It is worth nothing that box art is not a 100% accurate depiction of the same part of a toy. That said, Arker = tease.
Eh. The figure has the tank tread legs nailed down. The tank itself is pretty lame looking. Way too tall. Needs to be either flattened out or elongated. Isn't there a promo image floating around that shows Meg's left arm a little more meaty and balanced looking? I wished they would have gone that route. I mean the friggin missile that the figure shoots is almost bigger than the left arm... EDIT* Yeah the art is on the front page. http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/attachment.php?do=fullview&attachmentid=14845 Much nicer looking to me.
Hmmm... Interesting bio. Makes Megatron seem really savage. That figure stomps the last leader Megs into the GROUND!
Better than the first version... maybe. Still wish he would have 2 proper arms instead of looking like a War Amps advertisement.
wow that arm looks like its been ripped off a deluxe... but its cool its by far nicer then the first movie toy and I will get it when its out
well the bio does say, he was built from spare parts of the dead decepticons, so it very well could be true. lol maybe they yanked that arm off brawl, or blackout?
Very nice, but I was hoping for his cannon arm to look more like the cgi plus his tank mode looks too FAB.
He looks pretty good. Also, it's kinda funny to see them covering his face....for some reason, especially since you can still see it in his tank mode..
That's actually really awesome looking. Would have been nice to see the toy's head too. The tank-mode is a bit lack luster, but the bot-mode more than makes up for that. I oddly enough actually like the gimpy hand. Makes his other arm seem even bigger than it actually is. The gimmicks sound like they'll be fun, and the treads on this guy look really good. I'm definitely going to be getting Leader Megs, Prime, and Jetfire. It'll be interesting to see what repaints these molds get, and if they'll be interesting enough to buy or not.
