Nice pics, though. I may have to wait for the repaint on this one (which will, with luck, be yet another airborne Decepticon). The colors in the official images were better. The colors on the actual toy, while not being bad, aren't great either and don't mesh very well.

 

Thanks for the decent photos Mike. I like him quite a bit; I just wish that his head didn't poke out like that. And hopefully he looks good when he's properly transformed too.

 

The mold is really good, though the colors not so much. The colors, imo, would be much better if the camo was either different or just not there, and if the redish-brown wasn't so dark compared to the other colors. I may wait for the repaint, but it'll depend on how this guy looks in person. Can't wait to see some good bot-mode pics.

I'm struggling to get over the fact that it's obviously inspired by the F-35, but the wrong wing shape really bugs me. I'm guessing it's a copyright issue, but it'll probably stop me from buying the toy.

 

Very cool, thanks for the images! I love the way his head fits into the cockpit, but I wonder if the head can be turned around? Maybe the back of the head has a chair detail on it? Doubtful looking at the robot mode but I figured I'd ask.

 

Yeah, the wings bug me the same way. Plus, the blue & green plastic is horrible imo.

Idk... I might get one to repaint maaaybe..

 

Thanks for the pics. While this looks like a fantastic mold, I still can't get past the colors...hopefully they'll come up with a good repaint.

 

This does look like a decent mold, but that colour scheme looks awful. Colour schemes on TFs don't usually bother me one way or another, but that blue really clashes with the brown. I'll pass on this and wait for a repaint.

 

Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel. Maybe the subsequent Decepticon reapint will look better.

 

I really don't think I'll be getting this guy, but I love the placement of his head here. It's like if a pilot opens the cockpit to enter it, then the robot is like "lol hi"

Great mold, awful colors. I'll wait for a repaint and hopefully they'll fog the window so I don't have to see his Ewokian face poking out at me.

 

It's funny I never seen people complain about Dreadwing/Air Raid regarding visual likeness to the real thing - they're no where a near perfect MiG 29 either  
I can't really be bugge with the wings on Breakaway (not a fan of F-35 anyhow), a sharp cutting tool and a little angle reshaping would work. Still I like his a/c mode, I'll buy him
