Hasbro Toy Fair '09 Press Release

Not too much to say yet. If like previous years, Transformers-specific press release should be coming soon.

TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN Movie line

This summer, the colossal battle between the AUTOBOTS and the DECEPTICONS continues when “ROBOTS IN DISGUISE” once again invade movie theaters around the world. The new DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures live-action movie TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN debuts June 26, 2009 and continues the story from the 2007 worldwide blockbuster film that finds two warring factions of robots colliding in a major battle on planet Earth. In 2009, Hasbro continues the legacy with its new line of movie-based TRANSFORMERS toys that capture the action and excitement of the new film. Fans will love the new action figures in multiple scales and kids can pretend to be a TRANSFORMERS robot by wearing the new BUMBLEBEE MOVIE VOICE MIXER HELMET. Additionally, coming in the fall, young fans will enjoy TRANSFORMERS R.P.M.’S MINI-VEHICLES, a new line of miniature, non-converting TRANSFORMERS-themed vehicles.

Not much, but at least we have the more specific press release to look forward to in the near future. Can't wait to see what they show this year

They're really pushing those RPM's, I wonder if they just want a piece of Hot Wheels market share.

Well, Mattel's weak right now brandwise, aren't they?

What better a time to press the advantage and attempt to gain inroads in one of Mattel's biggest sellers?

Unless we see more decepticon cars/normal vehicles then its only right to say this line will be dominated by autobots.

So it really looks like all we're getting for atleast a year or longer is nothing but Movieverse, its a shame seeing Universe and Animated have produced far superior characters and toys
Sig pictures are to be no larger than 40KB in file size and should be no larger than 300 pixels in height and 500 pixels wide - 2005 Staff

Maybe Hasbro can also invade our living rooms with Toys that actually have QUALITY CONTROL.

Or perhaps they like saving money for not having any quality control anymore.

I can see the stickers on the package now:

"Sticky paint apps for custom figure making!"
"Sloppy paint apps for multiple color variant figures!"
