The art for this is great. Italian artists like Guido and Emiliano sure know how to draw G1

Wow... Italy is totally getting hooked up with these. I am ridiculously jealous.

It's a damn shame, and nearly criminal, that G1 can not be bought here in the U.S. at retail stores.

Silverhawks? Yes.
He-Man? O yeah.
Thundercats? Can be bought.
Transformers G1 the greatest cartoon ever? Big fat stupid NO.

It's even more insane that the 25th anniversary can't even be celebrated with a release.

FAIL that transformed into FAIL.

Stuff I want. Stuff to trade/sell (Updated 10/11/2009). My feedback.

Never mind the actual quality of the art (which is awesome) - it just impresses me that a Transformers DVD release is actually getting artwork that *looks like the bloody cartoon*. That's a rare enough thing.

It seems the italian publisher signed the deal to make these DVDs before Hasbro bought back the rights to the Sunbow catalogue early last year. The backs of these DVDs still cite TV Loonland as the owner.
