Good issue, though I am tired of "Rob's Hot Pick" --> only Decepticons. I sure hope there will be another TPB of the Club's comic. I appreciated the "Story so far".

so, being that I joined the club a few months ago i have to say after getting 2 master collector's and this one extremely thin magazine *clears throat* er' um sorry, comic. I'm not to impressed whith what being a member of it has to offer and probably will not be renewing my membership once it expires at the end of this year.

I don't get anything exclusive because I joined too early to get the last 5th figure to form the repainted w/ remolded head gestalt prime, and i joined too late to get the 4th figure. And since I can't afford botcon I can't use any discounts exclusive to club members get.

Sorry I'm sounding like I'm angry or bitchy lol I'm not just stating what's obvious is all.

I was hoping to get the season 3 animated issue of the club magazine but again i signed up a tad late lol

so in closing I say meh to the story i'll just wait til the inevidable trade paperback comes out for it I'm sure I'll see it at atomic comics in a couple years or so  

 

Depending on when you joined you will be getting EITHER the 4th or 5th year figure. There is no "too early or too late" so you get "nothing." You ALWAYS get something. Sounds like you will be getting the year 5 guy, Heatwave...

 

I don't think that I want to get so involved in transformers that I buy a membership to a club. Still, I'm intrigued by this Blackarachnia profile.

 

HEATWAVE was truly my only reason for joining lol

Hopefully i can figure out a way to get the other 2 figures as well so i can have all 5  

The magazines aren't too big a deal though.

I love the toys for the transparent plastic  

 

Sky Lynx

I never liked the G1 Sky Lynx toy, but his personality in shatteredverse is completely awesome. No spoilers, just check it out.

I also really like the way that they've linked up all the alternate realities (classicsverse, shatteredverse, transtech) -- It's hard to really get into the story with so few pages per issue, and so long between issues, but when it's all brought together, it's very well done.

 

So now to search the interweb to see if anyone has posted scans of the animated tech specs....

REALLY liked the backstory behind "Transtech" Blackarachnia, Immorticon, Scavenger, and Nightscream. Hope to see a bit of that in this years' comic.

Also, Alpha Trion sure turned angry fast. Dang.

 

Is it stated or implied that this Whisper is the Shattered Glass version of the original Micromaster Whisper?

 

I dunno - the shatteredverse comic, while enjoyable, suffered from some very clunky dialogue. And from what I have read of the OFTCC comics, they are nothing spectacular, except for the cameos of TFs from all generations...

Frankly I don't get the hype over some translucent Energon combiner repaints, who don't even look good. Now if they were giving out the Universe Seacons as free gifts per issue, that'd be different...  

 

You can buy them in the club store (which is how I got the first three when I joined and got the fourth free).
