*He doesn't directly answer if most of the Decepticons are CG (which some fans have speculated is why we haven't seen much of them on set), but does say this would allow for more scenes added in post-production, which they are mulling over;
*When posed with the follow-up question about how these would impact the film, he replied "[they] serve fan boy goodness. One of the scenes we're mulling over was Bay's idea, and he pitched it as, 'you and the fans are gonna love this...'"
*Starscream's character is "finally" more G1.
*Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura's comments in Empire that there are around 40 robots was not an exaggeration.
*He reiterated his desire already expressed at TFW2005 that he and Kurtzman will probably do commentaries on both films for iTunes.

Now I cant wait for this movie especilay the "you and the fans are gonna love this...", more G1 feel/persoality for Starscream, and the 40+ robots!!!!

its the scene at the end where devastator starts breakdancing to 'the touch', just like his toy does

this is him doing it, you can't see much though because he's kicking up quite a bit of sand

Sounds interesting to say the least. Very excited for this movie.

 

Everything sounds good to me. The anticipation is gradually building. Though the thought of 40 bots in one movie is a little daunting. Most of those will probably just be background characters that get little, if any , characterization, while the main characters get the majority of the attention. Not a bad thing, imo, but it will be interesting to see how big of a role some of the new characters will play in the overall movie.

 

I HOPE that we get background characters with little characterisation.

That way we can get epic battles with redshirts galore.

hooray! I would be lying if i say those comments are not exciting. The 40 robots info is awesome but i'm more interested in knowing about that misterious scene.

hmm, i wonder if they will have Transformer toys actually in the movie? like in Fantastic Four, the Thing gets his catch phrase from the toy. so maybe there will be something involving the toys in the movie? that would be pretty kool IMHO

 

Volt is officially confirmed. Especially from one of Bob's previous post mentioning Volt and give some details about him (Volt).

Uh oh. Now the IDW comics portrayal of Starscream will inaccurate.

 

I am glad Starscream will have the G1 additude.

 

I'm not. Animated already does that sort of Starscream better, so a movie version would just pale in comparison. I'd rather Starscream follow his Movie comic portrayal, as an antihero on the wrong side of the war, with misguided aims.
