Hi folks, came across a new Transformers' custom items production team call I-Gear. They will be releasing some new custom parts for existing Transformer toys and also some other new items in the near future.

The current items in production are the following.

iG-TF001 City Commander add-on: custom head + G1 missiles + sword + gun.





The actual mold picture of the add-on will be released in February. This product may come in different colours in the future (nemesis etc). Actual product is estimated to be release in April or May.

iG-TF002 Auto Scouts





Actual product colour is currently done by photoshop. Actual coloured product will be released shortly. Items will be packaged in G1 style packaging. Actual product is estimated to be release in April or May.

iG-TF003 and iG-TF004 are currently in the brainstorming stage. Information will be provided once they are more concrete.

Production will be limited.

Wait... so... let me get this straight.... another company is making an add-on/upgrade kit.... of another company's upgrade kit?

And does this mean we have TWO companies making autoscout now? The mind boggles.... Maybe I just missed something.

Has/tak is missing out on this. And it proves how into this some of us are.

 

Well, the custom toy makers would need to sell in the tens of thousands of units to be the sort of numbers needed for Hasbro and Takara's mass production requirements (and thus low prices for retailers and consumers). Otherwise Hastak just wouldn't bother unless they're doing it for somebody else (BotCon).

 

Isn't the MP Magnus trailer from that line too? I thought it was going to be their first product. I already suggested a trailer for 6Ti War Within Optimus Prime...  

 

that Autoscout is pretty cool, I am always a fan of the cassettes

 

the gear of war "autoscout" looks much better.

 

Ugh.. I may have to stop getting custom stuff. I can't keep track of all the different kits.

 

Interesting times, seems anyone with a 3d program and friends in a factory can make toys now.

 

That Magnus head and accessories look pretty good. I suppose they will sell to the people that missed out on the 150 of the last company that did it since the heads look pretty similar and still better than the FP one the armor acually comes with.

To all the people going "What?" I don't really get what the big deal is. I'm just happy more companies are making custom stuff for TFs. This means there will be more to choose from and if they produce the same products the prices will have to be competitive

 

Will get the auto scout if it's a reasonable price.

 

I just want those missle and the gun. The Autoscout.. meh I'll pass. Im loving all these fan-made or custom made add on to the toys. It brings new life into a nice figure. Hasbro or Takara should make a deal with some of these companies

 

I like this set better than the first version.

 

So, all these customs have me wondering... when's Fun Pub gonna do something like this for a Botcon set?

I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but...

MAKE INFERNO HEAD WINGS/COWL SET!!!

I'm gonna keep begging until someone says they'll take my money, dernit!

 

I'll only bit on a ultra magnus missle set when they come up with one that works for the alt mode as well.
