Wow, after the room taxes/fees, the cost is essentially $160 per night. Definitely worth sharing rooms if you can.

based on past botcons, probably around $250 to $350, but that includes the toys. If you only want to go by general admission then I think it's $10 but I think this is good only for saturday and sunday and only for the dealer rooms and exhibit.

Booked mine a few days ago, like I said in a different thread watch out when you book it I have been given 3 different rates now and am waiting to hear back from them as to wtf is going on. First rate was 139 for the botcon rate and then i called back and was told its now 129 my gf called today to add two earlier days and they want 179 all for the same damn room. So may 24 and 25th are $179, 26 and 27th are $129 and 28th-1st are $139.

Meh, it's like...a half hour/45 min drive for me. Yay no hotel expenses.

Boo having to manage paying to go to Botcon, for goodies at Botcon, and for airfare/hotel expenses for Quakecon.

Let's say that I am set to go to the Hotel if things worked out (and I did the reservation before 8:23pm and it seems like I did some good timing on that).

Hope I can go, but I have to see how things work out from my end.

Yep, includes all regular con events. There are usually area sightseeing tours you can sign up for the day before the con starts.

Spread the love, lets have it in New York. Give us something to look foreward to in the cold winter months.

When I tried to get a room for the block from Thurs to Sun the computer said it was full, however when changed the dates from Fri to Sun I was cleared. Course last year they overbooked and stuck my father and I in a double room office suite, gave us both roll away beds and knocked off 200 bucks for our room and the beds were quite comfortable. So here hoping!!!

It usually $10 a day each on Saturday and Sunday, but it gets you into all events those days (but not the Saturday night dinner). If a panel is looking to be overfilled, package holders get first seats, but they've always ended up with room for everyone.

My friends and I are not staying at the Sheratin, however, if it's filling up this quickly (and early), that's a good sign. That will give FunFub enuf time start negotiating for another hotel.

There are still (double bed) rooms available from May 29th-31st at the $139 rate.
