TF2 AUS Movie and Toy Release dates. - Ozformers Transformers Collectors Australia

Toys should be out by May 31st, while the movie will be out June 25th. Yay.

 

Cool if the movie is out then we will get it earlier than the Americans again!
Damn it, why can't the toyline be out earlier... grrr...

 

About a month between toy releases and film release? Not bad. I don't remember when the figures actually hit shelves the last time around. Did they try to do a same day launch as the film?

 

If my memory serves me well, the Protoforms of Optimus Prime and Starscream hit the shelfs about 20th of May in Aussie.

 

The first movie's Preview Protoforms hit in late April 2007, I believe. If I recall correctly, the official release date for the rest of the Movie line was early June, but some stores didn't adhere to the street date so I found leader class Prime in mid-May.

If the UK release date turns out to be 25th of July again I swear I will write hundreds of letters of complaint to paramount.

 

I have. But I wasn't really looking for Bumblebee sooo...
I did see a bunch of BBs on craigslist shortly after the movie came out for like $50.

 

Awesome so thats what 5 months until the Animated line gets kicked in the balls for movie rubbish hurray.....

 

Actually Animated is staying. Universe is getting kicked in the balls.

 

So no preview toys this time around? Or we're just talking about the main line here?

 

It's probable that the protoform Soundwave test shot we've seen is a preview figure.

 

Why is July 25th a bad day?

 

I remember, I only saw him about three times for both versions! THREE!!!

 

Well it also depends where you are in Australia doesnt it?  

 

So according to usual international release schedules they should be out in the USA like, tomorrow?

 

*shrug* Australia sometimes gets stuff before the US does. Look at those combiners that have yet to be officially announced for some reason.

 

Because it is about a month after the official release date of the 26th June (i.e. the UK fans will get screwed over ......... again!)

 

So, Paramount announce 25th June in Australia, despite updating their website in the last week to 26th June? sigh.

1 month later, despite the UK producing the largest international box office gross for the first film.
