He looks like a quadruped to me, or a roller like BM Rattrap, the ways his knees bend it doesn't look like they could stand straight up anyway. No matter what his legs are goofy and I think it's intentional, I mean you can tell they're made from the front half of the boat but I dont see a hinge or a panel line or anything anywhere on it...
