That's a very good figure, even by Animated standards. The headsculpt in particular is fantastic; I love the little bent pipe on the left of his head, not just because it's an impressively intricate little detail, but because of the wonky asymmetry it gives the whole head balance. That's the sort of attention to character detail that Hasbro are getting particularly good at lately (see also: Universe Dinobot's hands). Credit where credit's due: this is some fine toy design.

Daddy likes him some Wreck-Gar. 400 tons of personality in the face alone.

How the Animated toy line REALLY came to an end

If I wasn't already sold on Wreck-Gar I'd be sold by him now! He's too awesome to pass up!

Looks like the backpack might hinder leg articulation.
Too bad it can't shrink like in the show, but that would probably involve bending the laws of physics.
http://www.tfwiki.net - I'm a pepper! Wouldn't you like to be a pepper, too?

Forks Removed?

Hey Guys,

If you look at these photos and compare them to the ones in the reference section it looks like the lifting forks in vehicle mode have been removed in robot mode. Also the attachments on his forearms are missing. I wonder which one of the photos is the more accurate?

Or the use of some acordion style plastic.

Does anyone have a link to TF08.net's version of these?
