Can't say I'm happy to see scouts come back. But I do like the looks of that toy. Will buy.

Soundwave

That white lump standing behind Dead End is none other than Michael Bay's version of Soundwave. It is so wrong. A satellite?! Blue with red flames wasn't bad enough??? That's definitely a film figure then. Dead End actually looks decent.

I wish I was a director...so I didn't have to listen to the fans...yeah...

I can't help but get a slight feminine impression from this figure: the heeled feet, the red colour, the slender, tapering fingers, the Airazor-reminiscent head...

All hail the mighty Black Convoy-Sama!

don't really think this is from the ROTF I hope not. looks kinda animated. please don't let it be laserbeak.. although Bumblethumper did post some pics of concepts it could pass for. Still all I ask is that this bot is part of a line I don't care about, like animated.

If I had to take a guess, it's from the video game.

Last time around, we got the Protoform figures, followed soon by the video game ones, right?

I can't see them doing just one Stunticon (although, there is the whole Bonecrusher/Brawl thing, even though they were Constructicons in name only)

With any luck, it's from the game, and we'll see the others. Hopefully, the game would fill in some of the movie gaps, and go into the whole combiner thing. Imagine a God of War button sequence type thing where you fight Menasor.

ROTF Basic. Laserbeak. I get it, I agree with the movie canon.

check out that head, pure laserbeak golden headsculpt.

A super smooth lined vehicle mode does not equal a animated toy. Its just a sports car. There also are a lack of embelishments the animated jazz toy had.
(fins, pipes, and side mirrors)

Man I really want this figure when it comes to retail. Looks like a solid troop builder. The flat chest plate and its tampograph reminds me of something I'd expect from the universe line. So if the other toys can fit a contrasting movie/universe style onto it like this does it will be a perfect line.

Laserbeak could refer to how his head has a beak (if it does) not necessarily that he transforms into a bird exactly like G1 Laserbeak does.
