New TF:ROTF or Animated "LASERBEAK"? -[DEAD END]

I got the name directly from the seller, I don't know if he's in the movie or just a movie toy.

It's so nice to see the Speed Racer cars getting work after their own movie.

All kidding aside,the moment I saw that I said Dead End,looks nothing like Lazerbeak to me.

Animated isn't over yet, so I seriously doubt they'd already be working on toys for whatever will be coming after it, let alone one's this far in the design process. That and we heard a while back that there would be a series of new Scout class molds for the RotF line, and this hear fits that description.

As for why I think it's Dead End:

1. A highly respected member of the boards posted that it's actually Dead End.
2. It fits better than Laserbeak does.

I dont think this is Lazerbreak. Booster X10 looks more like Lazerbreak.

Right because Movie Frenzy looked just like G1 Frenzy.

And Movie Ironhide looked like G1 Ironhide.

The Movie line takes many liberties, don't it...

Personally, the face does look like Laserbeak to me.

Dead End does fit MUCH better than Laserbeak (just looked him up) and although i dont want Animated to be over, i AM curious as to what the next step in the Transformers franchise is, though you're absolutely right about it being too early, just wishful thinking

My money is on this being a no-screen-appearance ROTF movie fig. If it was in the movie it'd be based on a real car, not an amalgam lookalike.

There's also the theory that it could be a remote control car in the movie, well we've seen one of those in behind the scenes photos, and it was quite different. That doesn't seem likely to me, but I guess it's possible.

Anyway, really awesome and the first thing I've seen from ROTF that I'm genuinely excited about. The new scout class looks incredible.
